GEORGIA SOUTHERN'S FILM CLUB IS DEDICATED TO FOSTERING THE BEST FILM MAKING AND FILM LOVING COMMUNITY ON OUR CAMPUS.
AT FILM CLUB, OUR OFFICERS ARE WORKING CLOSELY WITH BOTH STUDENTS AND FACULTY TO MAKE THIS FESTIVAL THE BEST IT CAN BE, AND WE ARE INVITING COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM ANYWHERE IN THE NATION TO JOIN US FOR THIS FIRST OUTING.

The Georgia Southern Film Festival will be hosted in Georgia Southern's own Russell Union Theater, a venue which has been host to many Film Club's sponsored events, such as the Movie Night series and the premiere of the student film A Year and a Day.

Rules and Awards
SUBMISSION RULES

This festival is open to all college and university students! The primary author(s) of the film (writer, director, editor, producer) must be a currently enrolled college student.

Submitted films must be completed after December 31st, 2017 (production can start any earlier time).

Films must not be longer than ten minutes, including credits.

Copyrighted music, video, and images will not be allowed in this festival.

Film Club GSU officers cannot have a credit or fulfill a role for any above-the-line positions. The only credits they may have for the film are production assistant or special thanks. More specific credits will be evaluated by the Film Club officers after submission. Please see the Event Organizers for a list of Film Club officers.
